Ashton Kutcher has to compete with CNN about reaching the 1 million follower mark in the micro-blogging phenomenon Twitter won. Early this morning he has the 1 million mark with his Twitter account aplusk exceeded. Kutcher can now boast of being able to influence at least on Twitter more than the people with his remarks by media mogul Ted Turner founded newsmagazine CNN .
The bet came from Kutcher's attempt to prove that individual people through social networks and social media are certainly able to move anything in the world and even to influence more people than traditional media gatekeepers such as CNN.
The announcement was made public by one million followers of Kutcher bet quite typical of Web 2.0 social media platform as Quik video .
For me now the question remains: Who will reach the next 1 million follower mark, and it creates Ashton Kutcher's newfound importance as a gatekeeper of topics and is influenced public opinion.
